eFormation June 2017 conference shift

June 5-6th Conference Postponed

As the anticipation and planning for eFormation kicked up into high gear, the planning team learned of unexpected news. Virginia Theological Seminary has had to close Addison Academic Building for immediate repairs for the summer.  This means that eFormation will not have access to our event space and learning community hub.

We have researched other potential solutions – including on and off-campus arrangements. However, because of the short timeline and unique quality of the eFormation conference, none of the options can offer the room set-up and integrated technology infrastructure that the community needs.

Wanting to provide the best learning community possible, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the June 5-6th eFormation conference. We apologize to you, our participants and supporters for this last-minute development. The new dates will be January 12-13th, 2018.

Good News – FREE live workshops via webinar on June 6th!

Several of our key presenters have agreed to present their workshops live via webinar. We will also be hosting several online affinity groups, for networking, conversation and brainstorming. Everything will be free and accessible to the eFormation learning community and guests. This is a great time to invite someone to see firsthand what eFormation is all about.

Mark June 6th as your professional learning day – with webinars and affinity groups. More details about the timing, offerings and leaders will be released in the upcoming days.

New Conference Date

Keep January 12-13th, 2018 in your calendar for an eFormation residential two-day event at Virginia Theological Seminary. We hope that you will be able to join us whether online or in-person. The Leadership Summit and robust digital media for ministry workshop slate will be announced in the upcoming months.

We know that people continue to be drawn to the eFormation community because of the group commitment to open dialogue and resource-sharing. We will continue to gather both online and in-person for the important exchange of ideas, and to further faith formation and spiritual development to meet the changing needs of our world.
